Building on the success of the Urban Design Awards over the past 16 years, the City of London is pleased to announce the 2023 Urban Design Awards. The purpose of the Awards is to recognize, celebrate and inspire design excellence and to showcase a variety of innovative projects in the City of London. Urban Design Awards will be granted for exceptional projects that represent visionary thinking and raise-the-bar for design excellence in London.
Urban design helps establish a city environment that is creative, engaging, and attractive. The Urban Design Awards program raises the bar on urban design in London by awarding projects that represent excellence, innovation and visionary thinking.
These bi-annual awards are intended to inspire developers, architects, landscape architects, planners and designers to advance excellence in their own projects.
The deadline for entries is Friday, June 2, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.
Please submit your applications to Planning & Development, City Hall, 300 Dufferin Avenue or email to arrange an alternative drop-off. Any physical materials (display board / USB, etc.) can be dropped off at the Business Hub located in the lobby of City Hall, and digital materials can be emailed to the contact listed on this page.
