Leading up to our 10th anniversary, we’re having a fundraiser so we can keep this program going. This will be a silent, online auction. We’re looking for artists who would like to be a part of it by auctioning their original 2D art. Artists will retain 70% of profits from sales and Belltown Art Walk will keep 30% so we can fund things like our web site, hammers and nails, gallery wall paint, posters, graphic design, art walk photographers, and musicians & DJs during future art walk nights.
The auction will be held the week leading up to the 10th anniversary art walk on June 9, 2023. Artists will be paid for their sales the following week, via Venmo or some other agreed upon method.
After the auction, artists can choose to ship their work (we offer up to $20 per piece for shipping) or coordinate pickup from Slip Gallery in Belltown. Starting bids can range from $80 to $3,000, and you can also set a “buy now” price if you’d like. Art must be 24” x 24” or smaller. Submissions are limited to one work per artist.
