For the past six years, NYX Professional Makeup has recognized the talented individuals of the beauty vlogging community. Once again, the Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites (FACE) Awards will give contestants a chance to compete for various prizes-including a $50,000 grand prize and title of Beauty Vlogger of the Year.
This national competition celebrates the community of online make-up artistry-a rapidly growing industry. There are more than 45,000 YouTube channels that specialize in beauty and fashion and these videos receive more than 700 million hits a month. The FACE Awards were created not only to celebrate this growing community, but to foster their careers and unite them annually with a single event.

We look forward to recognizing the Beauty Vlogger of the Year at our live event in August.”
Submission period will close at the end of the month (April 28). A public vote will be held in June to determine 20 semi-finalists. A second challenge will then determine a group of 12 who will perform a video challenge; six will move on from this round to the final event.
The top six contestants will be flown to Los Angeles in August where they will compete in a live show. Judges will assess the finalists based on creativity, educational content, artistry and personality. In addition to the grand prize winner, the five runner-ups will each receive $10,000.
