A state-wide juried exhibition conceived to introduce & promote emerging artists
2019 Exhibition Presented by Craighead Green Gallery
2019 Juror: CALEB BELL
New Texas Talent is designed to introduce and promote emerging visual artists in the commercial market. Each year hundreds of images are submitted for review. The juror then selects artists to participate in the New Texas Talent exhibition. Through their participation in the show, some artists have been offered representation by galleries and/or have been extended invitations for inclusion in future exhibitions. The exhibition and its participants have also received media exposure in such publications as Patron Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, D Magazine, The Observer and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Arts+Culture Magazine and many others.
About the Juror:
Caleb Bell is an emerging Texas-based arts professional who actively curates for the Tyler Museum of Art. Committed to the presentation and understanding of contemporary art, his research interests are diverse but include popular culture influence and the intersection of music and visual art.
Over the years, he has worked with artists in varying degrees on a multitude of exhibitions and special projects. He also has organized numerous lectures and developed an array of public programs. In addition to exhibition design and development, he specializes in communication strategy, event coordination and graphic design.
