Yorkfest is a weekend-long premier fine arts and music festival held along the Codorus River (surrounding Colonial courthouse) in historic downtown York. Yorkfest features over 80 fine artists from all around the country, free entertainement and hands-on art activities. This year’s festival will take place Friday, August 25 until Sunday, August 27, 2017. Yorkfest is held rain or shine.

ABOUT THE JURIED EXHIBITION

The Yorkfest Juried Exhibition will be on display in the Kerlin Gallery, Creative York, 10 N Beaver St in downtown York, August 25 – September 16, 2017. Creative York will host the opening reception and awards ceremony, as the kick-off to Yorkfest events on Friday, August 25th, 6-8pm. We are honored to host this year’s juror, John Pepper, an arts professional and educator. He is currently the Adult and College Programs Coordinator at Allentown Art Museum.

STANDARDS & ELIGIBILITY

Participation in the Juried Exhibition is open to all artists and crafts persons. Fine art and fine craft in all mediums are acceptable. Entries must be original and completed within the past two years. Work should be of high quality and craftsmanship. The final decision of eligibility rests with the juror.
