The Frederic Remington Art Museum is holding its 10th biannual International Juried Art Exhibit opening Sept. 23.
All artists 18 years and older living within a 100-mile radius of Ogdensburg are encouraged to submit work. This area includes Watertown, Rome, the tri-lakes region, and Plattsburgh, as well as the southwestern outskirts of Montreal, the Ottawa region, and Kingston, Ontario.
Two-dimensional and three-dimensional works made within the last two years are eligible including paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs, computer generated art, and mixed media. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 36 inches wide by 72 inches high.
Sculpture must not exceed 60 inches high by 24 inches wide and deep. Up to three digital files will be accepted with a $10 entry fee for museum members, $20 for non-members.
The juror is Stephen Horne of Paul Smiths. Mr. Horne has had a career as an illustrator, editorial cartoonist, painter and museum exhibit designer, after training at Colgate University and graduate work at the Boston University School of Fine and Applied Arts.

The deadline for submissions is August 22. All entries must be postmarked or hand delivered by that date.
