The next event at Creative Space Avon, 33760 Lear Industrial Pkwy, is the Call for Artist for Sunflower Love II by Sept. 1. Donations benefit the Prayers From Maria Foundation. All art mediums considered from adults and children as there will be an adult gallery show and children’s exhibit. The event will be open to the public and by appointment. A children’s reception will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Sept. 16. The opening reception for the show will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 16. The show closes Oct. 12.
In addition to the gallery shows, Sept. 17 and Oct. 8 from 1 to 3 p.m., there will be Sunflower’s by Quill Pottery and Sunflower fused glass by the Glass Studio for children and adults.
