San Diego UnderSea Film Exhibition – Call for Entries

The organizers of this year’s San Diego UnderSea Film Exhibition (SDUFEX) are now calling for entries. The exhibition takes place on Friday and Saturday evening, October 6th and 7th, 2017 at the Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall in San Diego, California.

Selected entries will be projected on a 30-foot screen in high definition format at the state-of-the-art venue. Approximately 30 films will be selected by an independent panel of judges comprising Georgienne Bradley, Amanda Cotton, Bret Gilliam, Bob Gladden, and Jay Ireland.

Filmmakers whose films are selected are encouraged to come to the show and introduce their films in person. Each night, the audience will vote for the top three films, with the makers of the films garnering the highest number of votes being awarded cash prizes of $500, $250, and $100, respectively, for first, second and third places. And the best part? Entry is free!
